Who operates this
PonPon (ponpon.life) is run by its owner. For any question about your data — access, correction, deletion — write to hello@ponpon.life or use the Help page in the app.
What we store
Your account (email, password as a hash), questionnaire (age, height, weight, goal, experience, equipment, injuries), diaries (workouts, food with photos, weight, sleep, steps), metrics from wearables you connect yourself (Oura, WHOOP), conversations with the AI coach and the facts it remembers to help you.
On what basis
Your consent. Health data (weight, injuries, nutrition, sleep) is a special category: you give a separate explicit consent for it in the questionnaire — the service cannot work without it. Withdraw at any time by deleting the account in your profile.
Why
Only to make the app work: build your plan, count nutrition, keep context. We do not sell data and show no ads.
Who processes it
Our servers (EU). Specific functions run on sub-processors, each receiving only what it needs:
· Google Gemini API — the coach conversation as a whole: your messages, the relevant context from your health profile (goal, weight, injuries, limitations), facts the coach remembers — and food photos for recognition. Paid tier: per its terms Google does not use this data to train models.
· An email provider — sending mail (address confirmation, coach emails; unsubscribe via the link in any email).
· Cloudflare R2 — encrypted backups.
· Telegram — only if you link the bot chat yourself.
· Oura / WHOOP — only if you connect a wearable yourself (we receive steps, sleep, heart rate).
· Google reCAPTCHA — if bot protection is enabled at signup, Google sets its cookie and sees technical request data.
Some of these providers operate outside the EU — transfers are covered by their standard contractual safeguards.
Retention
As long as your account exists. Delete the account and everything is erased from the live database immediately (profile, diaries, photos, conversations, coach memory); encrypted backups age out automatically within 30 days.
Your rights
One click in your profile: export all your data, or delete the account entirely. Questions and requests — hello@ponpon.life or the Help page.
Age
The service is for users 16 and older.
Important
PonPon is not a medical service and does not replace a doctor. If something hurts, you are ill or pregnant — consult a specialist before training.
